Cherrelle began her dance journey in Ballet, Tap and African Dance at the age of 7 with Ruth Williams Dance Studio. She later started studying Raqs Sharqi (Bellydance) with Nourhan Sharif, Jehan, Kaeshi Chai and other remarkable NYC and Egypt based instructors for over 7 years. She was a member of the Bellyqueen Dance Company and a frequent performer at Lafayette Grill and Je’Bon. She has performed in many theater productions including Journey Along the Silk Road and Blood on the Veil. Her most notable performance was in Casablanca, Morocco where she performed to a live Moroccan band during Nawarra Funoon Dance Camp. Her dance studies include multiple Latin dances, including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Kizomba and Afro Brazilian for more than 3 years. She has performed Salsa with Piel Canela at Madison Square Garden during the Liberty Half Time Shows in 2015 and 2016. She is best known for her interpretation of the music and undeniable joy on stage.
